Milad and Doa Mahfil Held at SWID Bangladesh on the Occasion of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (S:))

A Milad and Doa Mahfil was held in a solemn religious atmosphere on Thursday, August 27, 2026, after Zuhr prayers, organized by SWID Bangladesh in joint collaboration with SWID Special Education Teacher Training College, SWID Laboratory Model School, and SWID Vocational Training School to mark the celebration of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH). At the beginning of the program, prizes were distributed among the winners and all participants of the Hamd-Na'at and Quran recitation competition, which was participated in by the students of SWID Vocational Training School. The honored guests joyfully presented the awards to encourage the students with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Honored Guests Present at the Event: Freedom Fighter Principal Mohammad Shah Alam, President, Advisory Committee, SWID Bangladesh. Mr. Jawaherul Islam Mamun, Mentor, SWID Bangladesh. Mr. Md. Mahbubul Munir, Secretary General, SWID Bangladesh. Ms. Imelda Hossain Dipa, 1st Joint Secretary General, SWID Bangladesh. Mr. Rafiqul Islam, Member, National Executive Committee, SWID Bangladesh. In addition, officials of all levels, staff, teachers, students, and their parents/guardians from SWID Bangladesh were present at the event. Conducting the Milad and Doa: The holy Milad and Doa Mahfil was jointly conducted by: Maulana Md. Abdur Razzak, Headmaster, SWID Bangladesh Gandaria Branch. Maulana Md. Yaqub Ali, Headmaster, SWID Bangladesh Wills Little Flower Branch. Hafez Maulana Md. Samiul Islam, Imam, Ratnagarbha Shahid Janani Khurshid Ara Jame Mosque, and Religious Teacher, SWID Vocational Training School. During the Milad Mahfil, a brief discussion was held on the holy life and ideals of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). At the end of the program, a special prayer (Monaajat) was offered seeking the peace of the global Muslim Ummah, the prosperity of the country, the continued success of the institution, and the well-being of all students with neurodevelopmental disabilities, teachers, and staff of SWID Bangladesh.
